Creative Writing
In middle school, I started writing a fan-fiction of my favorite video-game series, wanting to retell the story of what was otherwise a silent narrative. As soon as my version of that story concluded, I immediately began brainstorming an original novel, which became known as THAF Files: The Future History. I finished writing, editing, and self-publishing this first original book by high school. Following my first entry, I decided early on that I wanted to make the book into a series. Over the years, plans for a multi-book THAF Files series ebbed slightly, but nonetheless I wrote and released a second book, Apesol Rains: Book 1, between high school and college. This book cataloged three separate novellas about ordinary people gaining special powers, which all still tied to the first book’s multiverse. The Apesol Rains series, namely the third novella in the series, The Pentesse, soon also became the foundation and prequel for my webcomic series, Blue Starlight. The latest book in the series, released between college and my first professional job, was titled THAF Files: Eve of End. The book was meant to conclude the arcs established in this fictional multiverse, tying plot threads that have extended from each of my works, both written and yet unwritten, including the unreleased stories of what were originally going to be “Apesol Rains: Book 2”. While I still have plans to continue the stories of the multiverse that I have created, the medium may or may not be in book format. Growing up doing plenty of writing, I have also gained a reputation for writing, editing, and proofreading, both among friends and professional colleagues, including for technical writing and for other formal documents and correspondences.
